Tom Edwards

Maj Tom Edwards (ret) hails from South East, MN and served as an Artillery Officer for 20 years in the Marine Corps. Tom was the First Women’s team coach in 1995 and in just three years had the women’s team playing in the National Semi-finals. A remarkable accomplishment and a testament to Tom’s coaching abilities that established Navy Women’s Rugby as a perennial National contender. Tom also was a two-year starter on the 1977 and 1978 teams and went on to play for the US Armed Forces, All- Marine teams and for Old Mission Bay Athletic C.lub
