Nick Kalt is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was a combat engineer in the US Marine Corps and held his commission from 2000-2006. Following military service, he worked as a professional firefighter for the city of Long Beach, CA.  He currently lives in Stillwater MN. Nick played rugby for three years at Navy, started at lock for two years and was Captain of the 2000 team that won the Eastern Conference Championship. Nick was an All-American his senior year and went on to play for the Combined Services Senior team as a starter touring South Africa immediately after graduation. Nick also played for the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club (OMBAC) in San Diego for several years.
