LCDR Mark Ehlers, USN

Mark is originally from Yucaipa, CA and served as a Naval Flight Officer for 14 years before he tragically perished when his S-3 crashed in the Mediterranean Sea on February 4, 1997. Mark played rugby for four years to include two years with his brother Kurt ’82. Mark was a two year starter and an invaluable and dedicated teammate of the 1984 team that finished in the top five in the Nation. Mark was an inspiring player who truly left his mark on the program.
