John Vorndick

John grew up in Northern Virginia and in 1976 while living in the Annapolis area, sponsored his first midshipman who happened to be a rugby player. For the next 40 years, John “officially” sponsored over 350 midshipmen and an extended his home and legendary football tailgaters to countless midshipmen and friends. John’s staunch support through the years was instrumental in building the camaraderie that today still brings the Navy Rugby Family together.
