Joe Buenavista

Joe is originally from Pacifica, CA and served as Surface Warfare Officer and is now currently a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley. Joe was a two-year starter at fullback, captained the 1987 team and was the 1987 Team MVP. He was selected to the All Potomac Rugby Union team and his leadership was instrumental in the 1987 team winning the PRU. Joe’s stellar rugby career continued for 5 years after graduation with the US Armed Forces team, All-Navy Team and Old Mission Bay Athletic Club, a leading National men’s club. Joe has been an integral part of NRAA, serving as the annual “With You” Dinner Chairman for the past 7 years.
