Elizabeth Trujillo

 Hailing Originally from Zion, IL, Elizabeth (“Tru”) is a Lt Col. in the US Marine Corps and has served 15 yrs as a Ground Supply Officer. Her current assignment is Executive Officer of Combat Logistics Battalion 31. Tru was a 4 yr starter at scrum half for the Navy Women’s Rugby Team and led the women’s team to two consecutive National final four appearances, both times finishing in 3rd place. During her senior year, she was selected to the Team USA Seven’s Side and that team finished 2nd in the Las Vegas 7’s Tournament. She was also selected for the MARFU under 23 All Star Team. Tru went on to play with the San Diego Surfers in the Women’s Premier League from 2014-2019, was captain of the team for 5 yrs and led them to three National Sevens Championships. In 2015, she was selected as the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Athlete of the Year.
