David Long

David, originally from Tampa, FL, served as a SWO before leaving the service to pursue a career in IT.  He is currently serving as the Director of Product Management for a mid-sized software company.  David was the starting outside center on the 1986 team helping lead them to an undefeated regular season and the Eastern Regional finals.  David was selected to both the Potomac Rugby Union and Combined Services (CS) All-Star team.  Dave along with along with George Procak were Navy’s first All Americans.  David continued his playing career with OMBAC where he played on the 1991 National Championship team and was a regular representative on the Southern California Griffins All-Star team, the US CS team, and the All-Navy team.
