LCDR Dan DeWispelaere, USN

Dan was originally from Mt Vernon, VA and was an A-6 pilot , who served for 10 years before he was tragically killed in  a training mission.  He flew over 40 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm and was the COMNAVAIRPAC Junior Pilot of the Year in 1990.  Originally recruited to play football, Dan saw the light and joined the rugby team during his 2/C year and lettered for two years, as well as being the starting flyhalf for the 1981 National Semi-Final team.
