1996 Team

The 1996 Navy Team won often and often by a large margin. The team went undefeated through the Potomac Rugby Union and Mid-Atlantic Region before decisively beating Army to win the Eastern Championships and earn a trip to the National Semi-finals where they lost a close match to 5 time defending National Champion Cal. Numerous players went on to earn regional all-star accolades and 5 members made the All-American team. Additionally, many of the 1996 players went on to play All-Navy, Combined Services and Super League Rugby. The 1996 team remains a staunch supporter of Navy Rugby.
