The 1994 team posted an outstanding 25-1 record, winning the Potomac Rugby Union, Mid-Atlantic Conference and Eastern Championships.  Along the way, they won every tournament they entered including the Tournoi Alexandre Stefu tournament in Montreal.  Well-known for their physical dominance, the 1994 team was untouchable on the East Coast.  They ultimately lost a very close match to Cal in the USA Rugby National Collegiate Championship game, finishing #2 in the country.  Numerous team members were selected to regional all-star teams while seven players went on to become All-Americans.
